Project BLACKHOLE: Where Bejeti and Tristan Dare Forge Cosmic Legacy
by Editorial Team
Project BLACKHOLE is a landmark collaboration between Bejeti, the Pittsburgh atelier renowned for its minimalist wallets, and Tristan Dare, a master bladesmith celebrated for transforming meteorites into modern heirlooms. Together, they’ve created the world’s first Meteorite Folding Knife + Meteorite Wallet Set — a collection that embodies rarity, precision craftsmanship, and cosmic wonder.
Forged from a 4.5 Billion-Year-Old Meteorite
At the heart of this collection lies the Muonionalusta meteorite, born from the core of a vanished planet. Discovered near the Sweden–Finland border, it carries the unmistakable Widmanstätten pattern, a crystalline structure that cannot be replicated on Earth. This natural artistry forms the soul of each piece in the collection.
- The Wallet: Encases a solid meteorite disk plated in 24-karat gold and pure nickel, blending ancient cosmic energy with Bejeti’s signature minimalist design.
- The Knife: Forged with powdered meteorite Damascus steel and carbon steel, the blade’s swirling patterns mirror distant galaxies.
A Celebration of Rarity and Craft
Only seven sets of Project BLACKHOLE exist. Each wallet and knife is entirely unique — no molds, no mass production, and no replicas. The patterns are shaped by both cosmic forces and the hand of the artisan, ensuring that each owner becomes a custodian of a truly singular artefact.
Craft Meets Cosmic Philosophy
For Bejeti founder Eduardo Sande, working with meteorite is an act of reverence and restraint. For Dare, it’s a way to let ancient materials tell their story. Together, their work becomes more than luxury—it’s a philosophical meditation on time, value, and creation.
Each piece represents the tension between mastery and surrender, between the eternal and the ephemeral. It invites its owner to hold a fragment of the cosmos—an heirloom that carries billions of years of history.
