PROJECT BLACKHOLE by  DARE x BEJETI

In a world where luxury is too often mass-produced and stripped of meaning, Project BLACKHOLE stands as an astronomical departure. A return to rarity, reverence, and the pure art of elemental storytelling.
Born from the shared vision of Eduardo Sande, founder of Bejeti, and Tristan Dare, the renowned bladesmith celebrated by collectors and connoisseurs alike, Project BLACKHOLE unites matter and mastery in a limited-edition pairing:
The world’s first Meteorite Folding Knife and Meteorite Wallet matching set.
Only seven sets will exist in the universe.

A piece of the cosmos...

made for Your hand.

7 sets

Each set in Project BLACKHOLE is anchored by the Muonionalusta meteorite fragment, a celestial relic that descended upon what is now Sweden more than a million years ago.

Yet its story stretches far deeper into time, beginning over 4.5 billion years ago within the molten core of a primordial planetesimal. As iron and nickel slowly cooled in the silence of space, they formed crystalline structures that Earth itself could never reproduce.

Through careful acid etching, these Widmanstätten patterns emerge: nature’s own signature, a timeless imprint of a galactic history that predates our own.

The story within

The collaboration began not with spreadsheets, but with reverence for materials that predate humanity itself. ‘We’re not just working with everyday metals,’ says Sande. ‘We’re working with time, with space, with the remnants of collapsed stars.’

From that reverence emerged a minimalist wallet and folding knife, forged through specialty processes that marry powdered meteorite Damascus steel with carbon steel. At their core rests a Muonionalusta meteorite fragment—one of the oldest ever to fall to Earth. Representing a gravitational singularity, the disk is framed in pure nickel and plated in 24-karat gold, its brilliance orbiting in stark contrast to the raw darkness of carbon Damascus layers.

This collaboration is about chasing meaning—a return to artisanship, to narrative, to objects that feel both personal and cosmic. In an age where excess is common and substance is scarce, Bejeti and Tristan Dare reimagine everyday carry as a force of gravity—an unseen pull toward something ancient, elemental, and entirely your own.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. While each piece is born from the raw irons of space, both the knife and wallet are precision-machined and meticulously finished to serve as functional heirlooms. The wallet’s surface is fortified through the forging of purified alloys such as 1084 carbon steel, creating a resilient yet elegant finish. The blade, honed with equal care, achieves a sharp, enduring edge—capable of executing delicate, precise cuts with effortless refinement. Together, they embody a rare union of artistry, utility, and timeless durability.

The blade is forged from the Muonionalusta meteorite—an ancient celestial body dating back 4.5 billion years. First discovered in 1906 near the border of Sweden and Finland by a group of children who stumbled upon what they called an “unusual rock,” the Muonionalusta is now recognized as one of the oldest meteorites ever recorded. Having traveled through the solar system for over 4.56 billion years before striking Earth nearly one million years ago, it reveals a crystalline lattice of iron and nickel known as Widmanstätten patterns. These interstellar formations, impossible to replicate on Earth, distinguish it as a rare and enduring artifact of cosmic history.
