Affectionately known as “The Steel City”, Eduardo Sande calls Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, home. A befitting home-base for the next generation of precious metals craftsmanship given the history of this centuries old manufacturing haven.
A first generation Uruguayan American, Eduardo’s parents immigrated from Montevideo, Uruguay. Like many immigrant Americans, Eduardo’s success story begins with risk, a drive for a better life, hard work and ingenuity. Never shying away from a challenge, Eduardo became the first of his family to graduate college from Penn State University with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering, and later acquiring an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University.
Inspiration can often begin with a defiant trailblazer; which by definition is a pioneer, an innovator, and someone willing to take risks and go in a path that isn't already there. True inspiration often begins watching those who refused to take no for an answer, win. Watching his father and grandfather create and force iron to bend to both will and vision, creating furnishings is where Eduardo’s inspiration began. 20 years later, the legacy of defiant fine design and construct trailblazing continues with the creation of Bejeti, an ultra-luxe, ultra-craftsmanship wallet design compelling both the rare and most common materials on earth and beyond to yield to the will and vision of Bejeti.

When Pablo Picasso created Cubism, he built form from simplicity, dimension from color. There was nothing that revolutionized and impacted art in the 20th century with such influence. It’s as though paintings were “engineered” to be expressions of individuality, through the eyes of a futurist.
Sculpture, too, became structural and elemental, almost architectural in form, with both surface and angle creating what line and color could not. Untamable. Risky. Perfect in context and view.
