Sustainable fashion. Where do we start? Where do we fit in?
To Bejeti, it’s a way to produce exquisite pieces, while simultaneously being conscientious about the impact the production and end product will have on the world around us.
For example, we choose heirloom materials and designs over latest trends and hype.
Our designers start by using materials that challenge the status quo.
The steel we use is at least 72% recycled, while the titanium backplate is comprised of over 90% recycled material.
We are too well aware of the chocking effect plastic has on our environment. At least 14 million tons of plastic end up in our waterways every year. Floating plastic debris is currently the most abundant item of marine litter. Waste plastic makes up 80% of all marine debris from surface waters to deep-sea sediments.
Within our portfolio we are doing our small part to reduce this severe problem by removing polystyrene plastic from landfills and marine ecosystems and reusing it as a chic, modern material within our ecological series. Each fragment piece held in your hand now no longer chokes a waterway.
At Bejeti, we believe that manufacturing and the environment can support each other in spectacular, working harmony. As it should.
